The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast cook was very accommodating. A very pleasant stay overall.
The Pacific Grove Inn is located across the street from the Police and fire departments. The parking lot is difficult to maneuver because of the trellis structure.

Beautiful, perfect room and particularly nice breakfast. Very nice and really kind staff, always with a smile. Great location in Pacific Grove next to a convenient Visitors' Center and Natural History Museum, as well as the aforementioned cove at Lover's Point, the Monterey Peninsula and trucks, buses, fire engines and motorcycles.

We loved the cozy, homey atmosphere. This was our first time at a b & b and didn't quite know what to expect. They made us feel welcome and explained everything they offered from wine tasting in the evening, to the library of movies to take to our room. Being in an gorgeous, authentic old house in beautiful Pacific Grove/Monterey area on a rainy night and sunny day with a fireplace and private bath in our room, who could ask for more? The price was very reasonable for our midweek stay. Wish we could have stayed longer, but will plan to do so in the future,
Breakfast cooked in the morning was very good. Only little negative if I have to mention one, were the muffins. They were hard and didn't seem fresh,

Located in a charming area, the quaint private rooms offered a peaceful stay, especially the spacious King Size room in Tuttle Cottage. The breakfast spread was good, with quiche and fresh fruit, with an abundance of snacks available throughout the day. Noise from nearby traffic was noticeable with windows open, and the location might require some driving to reach attractions rather than walking. Despite these drawbacks, the stay was overall enjoyable.

This was our Second time staying a Pacific Grove, and were in the Tully House next to the main Buck house this time. Fantastic Room 17 with a Fireplace, queen bed, a cozy room and double doors out to a little balcony with Bay view and private Garden below. Love the staff here as always, they are friendly accommodating and nice. Many amenities from wine and cookies to breakfast to conversations with other travelers if you feel social. Always a pleasure to stay here and mot definitely looking forward to staying again, I kinda want to try every room in this fantastic Inn, so much flavor in each!

Unexpected delights at a charming stay
The breakfast was a good experience, a spread of fresh fruit and pastries, made our morning special. We loved the inviting common area for relaxation.
The parking lot felt cramped, and maneuvering our car into a spot added a bit of stress to our arrival. Just be cautious while parking.

It was a short walk to the waterfront from where I saw Sea-otters. For those who like to walk it provides easy access to Monterey and its Aquarium and the associated Cannery tourist shopping area otherwise take the car. The area is a beautiful town of old style timber houses with very little major development - I hope it stays this way. I thought that the features like the wine and nibbles at 4pm and cookies at 8pm were a great way to meet the other residents and to garner information on travel tips or life in the USA and to provide a friendly home environment.

Nice room, cookies at night, wine and appetizers at 4, friendly staff, great breakfasts, and close to downtown PB for restaurants, and close to beach for walks. Great price so my company won't balk.
I would put shades on the room windows where I was (room 4 I think). B/c the street light was a bit bright. The remote doesn't work to turn on or off the TV so you have to get out of bed when you're falling asleep to turn it off. And then there's something weird with the VCR and Tv so sometimes the satelite doesn't work and you have to turn the VCR on and off to get the TV satelite to be reset. It's annoying.
